Actually, it's very possible. Most of us don't have that kind of money to throw at a computer. Either way, give us a little more info on your board. Make, model, etc. Posted by v_lestat on May 13 2005,00:20
thx saidini am rather surprised that someone around here dont have one they arent expensive ok anyways. nothing to explain or list. its an nforce 3 network controller. its a gigalan but you should know that its 10/100/1000 you dont need to have 1000 enabled. It's actually an ASUS K8N-E Deluxe i guess i have an old netgear nic and another one sitting around. but i dont really see any need to sit there and swap the network cable everytime i want to boot to DSL. does dsl even provide preinstalled nic drivers ? here is the link to the nvidia unified drivers, you simply have to pull the network drivers from it, unless you wanna make a chipset driver release also < http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_nforce_1.0-0301 > |
