I am running the DSL version on Xbox, and I was wondering the following. Is it possible to connect the Xbox to a wireless router, then have that wireless router connect to another wireless router (which is a wireless router/DSL modem all in one) and in the end get the Xbox onto the internet?

Graphical model...

    Ethernet          Wireless Connection
XBOX----Linksys router-------->Router/Modem w/ Internet

Can this work? Where do I start? How do I configure it, etc etc etc!

Right now I have the following setup:

Softmodded
XBOX w/X-DSL
      |
      | (Wired connection)
      |
Linksys WRT54G
with Sveasoft "Sartori"
custom firmware and
WDS enabled

Motorola SB4100
Cable Modem

So it is possible.

There is no special setup required for your
X-DSL install.  It just works.

You will need to visit:

to learn how to modify your
Linksys router firmware and
configure your routers to use
the WDS setup in order to
create a wireless bridge.

Good Luck.
