Hi all!
It looks like I have some problems to setup my network configuration. Here is the current situation:

- My PPP kernel support is validated in modules
- The last PPP packages are installed via synaptic
- pppoeconf : goes trough it witout any errors
- pon : " /usr/sbin/pppd: In file /etc/ppp/peers/provider: unrecogniezd option '/dev/modem'' ". But I have no modem! It's a PPPOE configuration through my ethernet port.
- pppstatus : "active interface is pppo" and nothing else
- poff : "No pppd is running . None stopped ' "

Any suggestion?
Except this config problem, DSL is great! Thanks to those who work on it!
Cheers, Bill_oute

In addition, it looks like the command 'pon' reads the file :  /etc/ppp/peers/provider. and this file associates pon to a modem speed 115200, which I've never configured or declared anywhere.
It's a weird problem because pppoeconf should set this file correctly and then, pon reads the data in the /etc/ppp/peers/provider file to connect to the network no?

If I'm wrong or don't understand what's going on... tell me!
Thanks...
