GIMP up a nice background, create a partition and then its just a matter of adding or removing .torrents from it.  the '10' at the end of command sets upload bandwith limit to 10k.  Its probably not much different to do this with xterm.  
You can then add it to your menu and save yourself from typing an enormous CLI command each time
