Hi, I got a little problem... I don't have a network card on my pc, so my internet is running through one of my usb ports in win xp. Any idea if there's any way to get dsl to detect this?

If damnsmall doesn't automatically detect and install the modem, then you need to see if there are linux drivers for it. It would be much easier, however, to install a network card in your computer. This way you won't have to worry about finding and compiling these drivers.
