You should have

dsl nodhcp

command for original livecd bootup.

If not, you may need to add

killall -9 pump

to the beginning of your bootlocal.sh file.

Also, please type the following command from within an xterminal window on your DSL server computer:

sudo su
ifconfig -a

and reply with the information.

#!/bin/bash
# put other system startup command here
/sbin/syslogd
ifup eth0

- this my ping from mydsl machine :
PING 192.168.0.1 (192.168.0.1): 56 data bytes
and blank reply
- this my ping from mydsl machine to myclient machine (myclient IP 192.168.0.2)
