hey people,
just in installed the current DSL on two machines, an old Toshiba 420 and a p1,210mmx.. both work great!

main problem is pppoeconf, both detect and setup without any problems, but fail to connect... the p1 work with Ubuntu no problem but have not been able to test the laptop because of lowram.

ifconfig gives me an etho entry and lo... but no ppp0 is configured, unlike in Ubuntu... can anybody sugggest anything?

its a xircom 56 modem/etho... light flash and everything.

resolv.conf is setup... what more can i do??
