I'm sorry, I'm a noob to linux, I have a laptop that has HD issues and i run the dsl live cd on it, Since then i love it and want more of it, but i can not seam to get the onboard lan card to work

I read on another site, same laptop that module eepro100 works, I was wondering if this came with the distro, and if not, how do i get it on there? thanks!

Yes, it is there.

Try opening an xterminal window and type:

sudo su
modprobe eepro100
netcardconfig

and see if it works.
