I installed via frugal_lite.sh

The installer installed the image and made a boot floppy.

When the machine boots it just says "boot failed".

Machine is a 486 with 20m ram and 120M hdd.

I also tried the "dsl-boot-0.8.0.img" to boot the darn thing, same result.

What did i do wrong ?

OK, it seems that the bootfloppies dont work..

Is it possible to install the loader directly to the hdd ?

Search the forum for "loadlin", this is a utility to boot linux from dos. I don't know if it solves the "boot filed" problem.
