Now that I have my laptop running I just want to know, do all wireless pcmcia cards work with damn small linux? If not which one should I buy

The Orinoco Gold and Silver ones seem to work the easiest for many people. I'm using an AT&T 6700g with great success with the madwifi drivers.

Also check the DSL Wiki for verified wireless cards.

I have a Thinkpad 385ED, and DSL installs and boots beautifully. However, it doesn't recognize anything in the PCMCIA slots, and sound doesn't work. I have an idea it might have something to do with cardmgr, although I'm not sure.

The sound, I have no clue.

Any ideas?
