Hi all,
Using either iso I get seg faults at the start of the boot process.

This old P133 laptop only has 16mb of ram, so I guess that's causing a problem...

boot: lowram gets a bit further

I get INIT: No inittab file found
Enter runlevel:

Any ideas welcome.

Try typing in:

lowram mem=16M

at the boot prompt.

"mem" is lowercase, and the "M" at the end is uppercase.

Once DSL loaded from the live CD, I went to tools > install to HD
Script went OK and reported no errors, however on reboot I'm back to the segfault.

Is there a place (grub conf maybe) I need to tell DSL to boot using the lowram mem=16M option.

You can modify the grub menu.lst file in /boot/grub as root and add this command.
