This is a bit off topic, but I just wanted to share it with those of you using DSL to resurrect old laptops, as I have done. A guy has written a Delphi shell for Win 3.11 (Yes you heard me right) that gives it the look and feel of modern windows. I know its not Linux, but his work is amazing nonetheless. I am now running a dual boot HP 800CT with this shell called Calmira and DSL.

Calmira may be just what you are looking for to dress up that Win 3.11 side of your 16M laptop. Check it out at

Amazing what people can do when they set their minds to it.

I don't even know where to get a copy of Win3.11 anymore. That's just MSDOS 3.3 anyway isn't it? What kind of hardware is that HP 300CT?
