Any ideas why DSL doesn't see my 128 Mb Attache pendrive when it boots up?  I am booting of of a 2.0 livecd, toram, and the pendrive is seen properly in Windows.  I would expect to see a a Knoppix sda1 entry in my fstab, but it's not there.

The machine is an IBM Thinkpad TP43.

Thanks.

try hotplugging it after boot. does it show up in emelFM ?

sometimes the geometry will not get recognised.
(search forum for 'geometry').

I just downloaded and burned a copy of DSL 2.3 last night and lo and behold, when I tested it this morning it recognizes the pendrive properly.

I'll try hotplug detection after bootup in DSL 2.0 tonight, but since its working in the later release, I sorta feel like I'd better move on.

Thanks for the suggestion though.
