Hi,

i've got an ACER Extensa 367D and ran DSL on it. Booting was fine etc... but when it came to display DSL there was only disappointment. i tried all kinds of settings nothing helped. i could hardly recognize anything on screen.
On Windows 98 i found neomagic ZV128+ driver for my display. how can i solve this problem to get a clear screen?

thanks, det

PS: ACER is not very helpful!!!!!

There is a wealth of info for display issues in the forums.

Did you try booting DSL with the "fb800x600" option at boottime?
Then choose xfbdev, 800x600, when DSL runs thru xsetup it's first time?

Search the forums for "laptop" "display" "vga"
Choose "all forums" and search "from the beginning"

Post back and let us know if it worked for you.
Most all boxes will run DSL, sometimes it need a little finesse.

Thank u for this brilliant tip!
It worked without problems. Now i got another question.
Do i have always to typ fb800x600 at booting or it's possible to configure it?
