hey :)

iīve got a problem :(

first sorry for my bad english ;)

okay, listen, i had a old notebook (p1 133mhz; 96 mb ram). Dsl is the first linux then is run on this book :) But is i start my xserver i dont get more as 256 colorīs. When i get more, then the color isnt correctly .
I know it from Windows98, 1024*768 is 256 color - 800*600 ist must be 64k color

what can i do that i get correctly color on 800*600?

Try running the cheat code xsetup, from a running system it's xsetup.sh

I think many people have experienced this problem on laptops, and if I remember correctly, the best (only?) way to fix it is to install and configure the full XFree myDSL package. You may find some info about configuring X on < http://tuxmobil.org/mylaptops.html >
