Hi

I have down loaded the 0.6.3 iso file from one of the ftp sites in MacOS 9.2, and burnt the CD using Iomega Hotburn.  I think I've done it right as I named the disc iso, and the file appeared as an .iso, my problem is I am trying to boot it from my CD drive on a Win98 Compaq Armada 1530.  I can here the disc spinning, but it just doesn't boot up.  Has anyone had this problem? or have any suggestions?  Or have I just made the mistake of downloading from Mac then trying to boot on a Window's machine?

Hope someone can help...thanks

You just copied the ISO file over to your CDROM drive.
This will not work correctly.

The ISO FILE is a raw copy of the contents of the CD disk.
You need a program that lets you burn from an image to disk.

For example, in Nero 5.5, the command from the top menu is File ---> Burn image.

This is different from a normal CD burning command.  Look for a command with the description like "Burn a CD from an IMAGE file" or "Burn an ISO image".

Then use this command to make a new CD.

Good Luck.
