I'm trying to Install DSL 3.0.1 on a Toshiba laptop witha 366 mhz processor and 32 megs of ram.  I downloaded the 3.0.1 iso, burned it, booted to it, when boot: comes up and you see the DSL logo I hit enter "to begin", it loads some stuff and then gets to a screen where it shows this:

INIT: version 2.78-knoppix booting
Running Linux Kernel 2.4.26
Processor 0 is AMD-K6™ 3D processor 366MHz, 64 KB CACHE

It then hangs there and nothing happens.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure your iso image was downloaded correctly by checking with the md5, and then verify that your cd was burned correctly.

You could use some bootcodes such as 'dsl failsafe noapic noapm noacpi' or somewhere along those lines to see if you can get past that point.  It could be because you're on a laptop.
