Hey everybody. I have installed DSL on my laptop since a couple of months and it works pretty well. Although I am not new to Linux, I have a problem I'm not able to solve! As I boot I get the following normal message but the box hangs SOMETIMES! after that. SOMETIMES NOT!!!!!

cardmgr[52]: starting, version is 3.2.2
cardmgr[52]: socket 0: 3com 589 Ethernet
cardmgr[52]: executing:`modprobe 3c589-cs`
cardmgr[52]: executing: `./network start eth0`
cardmgr[52]: +Debian network setup
cardmgr[52]: +/sbin/ifup eth0

Afterward I have to reboot the system
My network card is a PCMCIA 3Com 3CXE589EC
I have no idea so let me know if you have any!

And what happens when you boot without the card in?
