Try the xfree86 extension.  It may support your devices.

Mozart,

Are you sure your usb ports are working in DSL? Do you have a thumb drive or other usb device to check it with? I have three differant usb mice, Microsoft, Kensington, and a Logitech, all usb scroll mice and they all work with DSL, oh and I have a wireless Logitech scroll mouse that is also usb, and it works also. Me thinks maybe it's the usb ports that are not working.

The xfree86 extension can be found at the myDSL testing area of the repository:

Don't forget to read the *.info file for xfree86

If you want to check your USB connections, try using the usbview extension.  It is located here:

Quit X (ctrl+alt+backspace)

Run xsetup.sh

Select your desired resolution, then select USB mouse.

enjoy.

Adding this to the FAQ in the Docs.  tired of this question.
