Well, I searched the net for answers but I cannot solve the problem.

I keep getting the message: "Can't find the knoppix filesystem"

I tried to boot with serverall boot options like "dsl nodma" and all but nothing seems to work. What could be the problem ????

The fact that you're getting that message tells us nothing. You need to tell us about your system, and how you're trying to boot DSL, as there are several ways ;) thanks

I had that error too; and while it's unlikely that we're sharing the same problem here, here was my epedemic and how it was fixed. This is actually just a copy/paste of an email i sent to someone who mailed me from this forum, with a similar problem.

My problem was that the file it was looking for was called "KNOPPIX" not "knoppix".
Remember that the FAT filesystem has case-sensitive filenames. So to fix it, make up the pen-drive as normal, then rename the "KNOPPIX" file to "knoppix".

If this still doesn't work, try renaming the folder that the file is
in. Now the file will be: "/knoppix/knoppix" as opposed to
"/KNOPPIX/KNOPPIX"
Again though, it's doubtful that this is the same problem as yours.
