I use DSL alot, but I just got a new Toshiba laptop and find that I can't get DSL to recognize any device that I have on my USB ports. I see that hot manager tries to configure the ports and it seems that he sees all three ports but nothing is recognized when I plug a USB device in.
I have this problem only with the Toshiba (all ports are USB2.0), my old Dell (with 1.1 USB) works just fine.
I guess that I just have to wait for a new driver to fix this?
I am using DSL 0.9.2, but downloading 0.9.3 now.

0.9.3 should work better for you, I think..
There was a usb2.0 bug fix in that release.

Let us know how it goes...

No change, 0.9.3 does the same thing. I forgot to mention earlier that when "auto configurator" runs on bootup that message " can't locate block-module-2" appears, also when tring to see if perhaps usb pendrive is detected with "fdisk /dev/sda" I also get "can't locate ....." message. I assume that is because of the USB2 drivers.
So far DSL, Knoppix, Knoppix-STD distros fail. Ubuntu, Mepis, and Yoper work.
