http://damnsmalllinux.org/static/act-ST/f-6/t-3196/hl-soundconfig1 minute search on this board for "soundconfig". I used the cmd line utility, soundconfig iirc & told it to look at the unusual irq/IO possibilitys (it says it takes longer but on a laptop strange settings are more common). You need to load and configure the cs4232 OSS audio driver, which is native to DSL (and all distros using the 2.4 kernel).See < http://damnsmalllinux.org/cgi-bin....=cs4232 > If you can't get it working, you might then want to try the ALSA drivers, which must be installed first from the mydsl download section. |
