Hello everyone,

I'd like to try out a Linux distro on the above mentioned Laptop, I've tried newer LiveCD distros like Knoppix and Ubuntu but they ran  at roughly the speed of continental drift.

Do you think DSL would run on this PC?, if so, is there a particular version you would recommend?

Stats:
Processor: Intel Celeron 366 MHz
Data Bus Speed: 66 MHz
RAM: 64 MB
Hard Drive   4.3 GB
1 24x CD-ROM
Max Resolution: 800 x 600 / 24-bit (16.7 million colours)
Graphics Processor / Vendor: Trident Cyber 9525 - PCI
Video Memory: 2.5 MB
Max Resolution (external): 1280 x 1024 / 8-bit (256 colours)
Supported Display Graphics: VGA (640x480), XGA (1024x768), SVGA (800x600)

DSL should run fine (maybe except some colour problems). Knoppix needs more memory than 64 MB (you may try Icewm instead of KDE, it may just work).
