My Dell Latitude D610 start the DSL Live CD then
put a black screen and stops.

VGA=788, etc, not work

Any suggestions

The live CD is working on my D610 !!, the last update is working fine, the only thinks is DSL2.0 is not managing properly the usb port of D610 so I can't use my DSL on USB pendrive :angry:

Hi,

Tested DLS 2.2 with Latitude D610 but is not working (black screen or kernel panic) ...

Will try with 2.2b

I have had the same problem with one of my companies Dell D610s, using DSL 2.2, 2.2b, and 2.3. Within the D610 series there are several hardware configurations, particularly for the video. I think this may be the issue. The configuration we use is:

Intel® Pentium® M Processor 750 (1.86GHz) 14.1 SXGA+, RADEON X300 [ Add $170.00 ]

Also, I attempted to boot with the different options available, and while they did not work, I was at least able to view the following error with the second video option listed under F2.

Code: Bad EIP Value
<0> Kernel panic: Attempted to kill init!

Hopefully this will aid some of you coders out there.

I still can't boot from USB with 2.4 RC1... I really could use this functionality. Let me know if there's anything I can provide you with (other than a D610) that can help.
