I installed DSL on my USB drive, via the usb-HDD script.
why is apt-get not staying enabled, and the items I install using it disappear? Is there any way to get DSL working as a Hard Drive, instead of a live usb drive? I hate live-linuxes. It's worthless if you can't install other apps (except for mydsl, which has little good apps in the first place.)

Because the filesystem is in ramdisk?

Any items you install and want to keep you will need to copy to the pendrive. It's not that hard to do.
