I'm a knoppix user, and I ussually download a lot of soft using apt-get
Yesterday I made dsl-hdinstall and I have now my dsl working fast and clean but when I try to install f.i: amsn (I allways install amsn in knoppix) apt-get said to me that amsn exist but will not be downloaded...I tried too use de .tar.gz version but dsl has not tcl/tk and....apt said to me that tcl and tk will not be downladed.... In case of amsn said that amsn needs sox and dock and when I try to download them.... yes! apt-get do not download...I use original sources.list but then I changed to knoppix sources.list with same results
Another question: I ussually install aplications using alien -i xxxxx.rpm or alien -i xxxxx.deb Is that possible in dsl
Thanks!
