Hello, I tried DSL embedded, which is a famous idea ! Nice bundle of small debian running with Qemu. Thanks for this tremendous work !
I have an issue when changing the keyboard (Not to change it, but when changing).
I start with dsl-2.0-embedded.zip, and uncompress it. Then I launch dsl-windows.bat It start, and the keyboard is qwerty US. I launch the DSL panel, and choose fr-latin-1. Then keyboard selector closes, I decide to backup the changes I've made. and restart using fluxbox menu.
When I restart, it fails to give me french keyboard.
Message: Loading /usr/share/keymaps/i386/azerty/fr-latin1.kmap.gz unknown keysym `Control_braceleft` /usr/share/keymaps/i386/azerty/fr-latin1.kmap.gz:18: syntax error syntax error in map file key binding not changed.
====================
I tried manually, and reproduce the problem bash-2.05b# loadkeys fr-latin1 Loading /usr/share/keymaps/i386/azerty/fr-latin1.kmap.gz unknown keysym `Control_braceleft` /usr/share/keymaps/i386/azerty/fr-latin1.kmap.gz:18: syntax error syntax error in map file key binding not changed.
bash-2.05b# loadkeys fr Loading /usr/share/keymaps/i386/azerty/fr-latin1.kmap.gz bash-2.05b#
It seems the fr-latin1 keymap packaged in DSL 2.0 embedded is wrong ... All other fr** keyboard is fine.
latin1 is the only keymap that works well for french keyboard (Never used another one.)
Hope this will help for next release
Cheers Fred
