i have some coding experience, not much though, but when i saw that so damn linux excisted, i was like (how cool would it be if i could make my own linux!) i know what you are thinking, *you are stupid* well, i am sorry to say this, but i am not, i just need something to do, i sit on my ass all day and do nothing, well, back to the thing i was talking about, i typed in make your own linux or something like that on www.google.com and i found something called, *linux from scratch*, i just wanted to ask if that was something i could use. :). Please dont flame me if i am not making any sense or anything, i just dont know linux that much.

Yeah, if you want to make Linux from scratch, then I'd say that Linux From Scratch is a good resource.

I'd recommed waiting a while though if you don't have much Linux experience/knowledge.  Read through all the Guides.  Read the forums.

http://www.tldp.org is a good place to start.

And this is a good guide to start with on that site.
