dsl is my first experience with any sort of linux, i've only used windows and os x before. i have a flash drive with some files on it that i want to use while working in dsl, booted off the livecd. but i have no idea how to mount the flash drive. sorry for the inane question. if it helps, it's a corsair flash drive, plugged into an iogear 6 port hub+card reader, plugged into the onboard usb of an abit an8. thanks for any replies!

Use the mount app on the desktop.  Click through the options until you see "sda1" and click "mount."  Open up Emelfm, go to /mnt/sda1, and there it is.

You have to mount any drive before using it.  This goes for your floppy drives, cdrom, and hard drives.
