Hi,
Firefox 1.5 seems like a climbing a mountain to install.  I really appreciate some guidance in how-to install this latest browsers version.  It can’t be this hard!

I have read the forum and nothing really deals with installing Firefox 1.5.  The closes is this posting:

I experience the same error message and it is:
“/usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/firefox-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory”

The posting suggest that to resolve this missing library file, try installing “Firefox (1.0.7 I think).”  However, where does one get this seeing Firefox appears to only offers 1.5 download?

There has to be another way to resolve this missing lib file and install the lastest Firefox browser.

Any suggestions is really appreciated!!!
