When I run dsl (embedded or live CD) everything is fine, except my mouse freezes.  When running embedded, I can ctrl-alt and get out to close the qemu window.  My laptop has a synaptics touchpad, and I also use a usb mouse.  This is been a problem for many dsl releases.  Any one else having this problem?  Any possiblity of fixing?  BTW I'm a donor!
Thanks, Ariel

If you are running DSL embedded, then the problem cannot be your mouse.  DSL embedded actually runs inside a virtual PC using a program called QEMU.  So DSL embedded never talks to your real mouse, only the fake one that is inside the virtual computer system.

It is likely that something else is causing your mouse pointer to freeze up, such as running out of RAM (virtual PC or real PC RAM) or a program that causes your system to lock up.

Or maybe even a broken mouse.  Although if your mouse pointer works fine in MSWindows it is unlikely to be damaged.
