I installed DSL in my two old computers:
System 1 Pentium 200MMX with 512K cache 48M RAM TNT2 16MB PCI video card ISA sound card, ISA modem, PCI NIC 2.3GB HDD, with 255M DSL partition, 64M swap, and the remaining in an additional logical partition
System II Cyrix 133MHz with 256K cache 48M RAM Matrox Mystique 4M PCI video card ISA modem (US robotics), ISA AWE-64 sound card 1GB hard drive, 255M/DSL, 64M/swap, 700M/logical
What amazes me is that all that old hardware, particularly the ISA cards, are recognized without effort. This is a very good point, since it is much easier to fing a used ISA hardware modem, most PCI modem being winmodem (I got the US robotics for $10).
Very cool!
Andre.
