Hi,

I'm not a DSL user, but I just visited your
site to look at what Mini-ITX systems you sell.
I thought you might benefit from my "first time
visitor" experience.

Once I hit that "Miti-ITX Store" link, there
was no way to go back to the main DSL site. I
was expecting to find a link "back to DSL home"
or somesuch. You might want to add a link to
go back.

Also, when I click a link on the right-hand
side, there's a list of links at the bottom of
the screen to view the items in that category.
That's good, except that as soon as I choose
one, when I go to that page product page, the
links are gone. It would be helpful if those
links stayed there.

I notice that there's no "contact us" link anywhere
on the store page nor the main DSL homepage.
If someone has a question, or wants to check the
status of an order, it's currently a little bit of work
to find out who to email. I couldn't find and address,
so that's why I'm posting this to the forum. (Also,
I just figured it might be helpful for the site if
I posted this here.)

I then visited the wiki. The first question on
my mind was, "Why use DSL instead of Debian?".
I figured I'd make an edit to the front page
by adding a link there to the FAQ page, and
possibly start a new entry in the faq. Trouble
is, it's not obvious how to create an account.
On the "create an account or log in" page, it's
got fields for username and password, and then
further down a button for "mail me a new password",
but it's not obvious (to me anyway) how to create
a new user there, or how I'm supposed to provide
my email address to the wiki.

Hope this post is useful. :)

---John

the Wiki was locked a while back. I guess so that not just anyone can update it.
