I am new to Linux, and I found this distro by accident on Distrowatch.
I am an FDNY firefighter, and our computers are from the stone ages. Seriously they give us old pentium IIs and expect us to run the largest fire department in the world. Besides being old the computers run Windows 98, and they are completely locked with a custom utility.
I hacked the utility with a boot disk, but I am still stuck with a lame old computer.
Then I found DSL. When nobody is around I pop in the disk and reboot. Now I have a machine that runs halfway decent. I browse our intranet, type documents and spreadsheets, on a computer that actually works.
Thanks for putting out this distro, you may want to see if FDNY is interested in purchasing a custom version. This could solve a lot of their problems. The biggest one was when they first gave us the computers, guys would install AOL and in a month the machine would have viruses and spyware. Now they could have PCs immune to that, only administrators would have root access. It's a much better way to go in my opinion.
