Being a total Linux n00b, I can't offer much advice, short of saying do not despair! If you have a little patience, read these forums carefully and treat google as an ally - then anything is possible.. This is proved by my sitting here typing to you on my laptop from within DSL over a wireless connection.. I've had to resolve touchpad problems (forked out for a USB mouse lol!) x-problems (partially solved by the new mouse..) and the most evil linux experiance I've come across thus far - getting wireless networking to work using ndiswrapper. Yet I have prevailed! Which means that you can too!

I'm very much looking forward to using DSL more now and as I'm off to browse the forums I shall bid you good luck!
