Hello,
I've just started running DSL on a previously defunct HP Pavillion laptop via a live CD. I don't currently have a functional laptop hard drive around so I'm limited there. I'm going to scrounge one up, do a hard drive install and have turned a paperweight into my linux toy.
I've managed to hang things up once - simply by messing with everything accessible. Otherwise I've had total stability and no configuration issues at all.
Thanks!
