I've tried about 8 different distros and so far only one will boot up successfully. That distro is Dream Linux 2.1 workstation. I wanted to try DSL, but I get to the point of

"Uncompressing Linux... Ok, booting the kernel."

and that's where it sits forever. So far, I've tried about 6 of the various dsl option parameters without success.  If anyone has any advice, I'd love to hear it, even if it's that from past experience, I should stop spending time trying DSL.
