Is there a listing or web site that in a std text/tml format describes some of the MyDSL extentions?

I know a lot of work has gone in to each and I'd like to understand whats being available.

I'm looking for:
XP type Theme
Firewall (I would assume Linux need one)

Where might I find more info?

Each mydsl extension is accompanied by a checksum file and an info file.  The info file has (or should have) a brief description of the program and a URL to the original author's website, where you can get more information about the program

Thank you for that information. I just jave a problem with a couple hundred application and little else until I open it to read more.

I was thinking of some sort of Marketing approach to this task. Perhaps the application name may be well known to some but to me a Nubie ... I have a dumb stare glazed look of "what's all this?"

Perhaps I grab the text of each "The info file has (or should have) a brief description of the program..." I could add that to the application name, in an online list and serve it up as a searchable application resource. this is my more perfect world.

Thanks for the reply to keep me on track.

Sup man. Here's a link to where all the dsl extensions can be seen on the net. http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/damnsmall/mydsl/
There's descriptions next to each name there, if you don't wanna click the info link
