At this moment I am writing this on a windows box because I am suppose to have a DSL connection in the next 2 to 4 days. I am a newbie(about a year on a proper operating system) and I dont want to set up PPP and 2 days latter be switched to broadband. That being said I have in front of me 2 versions of Red Hat ,debian, Mandrake(2nd best) ,Knoppix,Learnix(Freeloader live CD),Peanut and Vector linux after plying with all of these for a month and running Red Hat for a year I just loaded my 1st Linux box. Damn small rocks I am loading on a 166htz with a 1.2 gig hd it took 6 minutes and is as quick as the 951 hertz win box my wife kicked me off for crashing weekly(what can I say I think if it can be built it can be tken apart to see why it works sorry b. gates) . Sorry about the ranting but DAMN SMALL lets YOU build your own OS into what YOU want!!!!!!!!!!
