Is there any way to remap a sound device channel to another? I am using a hp t5510, with a VIA VT82c686 southbridge (via82cxxx_audio driver), and the only two working output channels are PCM and PCM2. I rather not have to go in to dmix or umix every time I want to change PCM2, and PCM can be changed by xmms, but it be nice to use the wm volume control, especially the mute button. Can I map PCM2 to Volumer/Master? Do I need to recompile the via82cxxx driver to do it, or something easier?
On another note, has s4 or s4bios support been backported yet?
