Don't know if stuff like this hasn't been implemented yet or what, but when I open stuff like deviantart.com, there is no background color and everything is out of wack.  To see what I mean, while in windows XX go to www.deviantart.com and note the background color and position of objects.  Then, boot up DSL and then go to www.deviantart.com once again.  When I do it, the background color is white in stead of the greenish hue that it is under Win.  I also noticed that all the objects (pictures, etc.) are out of wack and aren't lined up like they are under Win.  Any help?  Thanks in advance!

If you check the page source option while viewing www.deviantart.com you will see that they use javascript. Dillo at this version of 0.7.3 has no javascript support. To have a fair comparison you should try then menu option to dowload and run MozillaFirebird. It will render www.deviantart.com just fine. You might also try cbagger's Opera download script. Although I am not sure just how much Opera supports javascript. I suspect that it would.

Those of us that write web pages find Dillo to be a help in making the page
viewable in almost any browser. I open Dillo in a terminal, like this:
#dillo http://www.rapidweather.com
and view the page in
question. The output in the terminal as Dillo runs will uncover any non-standard
html code that one can then correct.
This page of mine shown below was tested using Dillo, and edited using DSL's Scite editor, so that it would appear correctly in any browser.
There are still some issues that I have not solved with the page, however, but that's not Dillo's fault, it's mine.

That is my "Pearl River Page".
BTW, that river is flooding right now, so I get some traffic to the page.
To edit a page, directly in Scite, I view the source of the page in Opera,
which as been configured to use Scite as the source viewer.
Damn Small Linux really cannot be beat for those of use who maintain
web pages this way.

Currently in the 0.5 series backup/resore uses a usb pen drive or floppy so, if you have a usb pen drive, you can use the backup/restore options from the menu, as well as from boot prompt. If not, wait until the next release for more options for backup/restore.
