Hi Gangue,
Well, that's about a week of playing with DSL, from a complete newbie, never used any form of linux before except a very small demo of QNX.
I am impressed with the way it goes out of the box, but it does kind of need a primer of some kind. What I mean is a file/htm page or printer friendly FAQ's primer somewhere for the really really thick newbies like myself to save time for the really obvious ones that newbies don't know!
Does such an animal exist? or are you gonna say
"Write it up and put it somewhere for the rest?"
in which case I might just pester all and sundry for the answers and do that! I'm not an operating system person, I can write fairly well in HTML and the likes, so any OS things I do have to be words of one syllable - it's no use telling me I should install a "hypergrabber clutch stabiliser" with "overclocked joylodestoppers" when like loads of guys I just don't know what those are.
Oh, and did I mention I'm a silver surfer as well, when you get past 60 the brain cells start to deteriorate - where's the car keys dear! - so they tell me!
Anyhow, thanks for any info and best regards
