I was wnodering what to do to make my DSL international (in this case - polish) I changed the knoppix-autoconfig script to put vars like $LANG, $charset and so on ,into /etc/sysconfig/i18n that i desired (not that auto-ones)
so i received the old version of the file like it was before. Moreover - i changed the i18n contents to ensure that it is refreshed to "us" after the reboot and... it is...
What to do to make DSL polish (or russian,french or any you want? ) including X-window and any app...????
I will be glad for an answer 'cause I have no idea how to do it...
p.s.
fragment of my knoppix-autoconfig was like that and notking really happened to this var:
... [
echo "LANG=\"pl\"" > /etc/sysconfig/knoppix
echo "COUNTRY .... and so on]
and the same for keyboard and i18n
...so.... anyone knows what to do?
