Have been fooling around with various live distros lately and was intrigued with the "small distros" like DSL.The first DSL version that was at my disposal was 0.8.0 and recently also downloaded 0.8.3 which I found amusing but was unable to figure out how to connect to the net via dialup so it was put on the back burner and only ocassionally fired up.Today I went to my local Library and used their highspeed connection to download DSL 0.8.4,could hardly wait to get home and try it out.I again tried to make a connection to the net and after a few tries and finally adding a modem selection of my own "/ttyS4" I was up and running and browsing via "Links".My modem is an US Robotics 5610B internal.I am currently running FC 2 on this box that has DSL running in ram.

That would be a nice addition to the forums ..

Also, now that your up-and-running, visit the repository, look around at the
offerings, and start building your own personal distro with DSL .
You can browse the repository with your myDSL icon, or for more details,
click on the "repository" link on the main webpage in your browser.

The firefox, xchat, gimp, doom, and many nice themes are very popular.

Take it slow, read and search the forums, and ask questions here ..
