I got stuck.
I know that DSL i made to run without locales but after several moths using it in my company i decided to make it "international"
My problem is to put the desired keymap into my system excluding the default one (iso8859-1)... my iso is 8859-2
i tried xbase-clients tools (not succeded) and "fonty" package.
Although leymap IS changed, there are no fonts so when I try to type a letter from iso 8859-2 console displays it like that "1/4" or "As" "Al" etc.
Moreover i wanted to change the X fonts..
Anyone's encouraged to check that?
I would appreciate any help..

Hi !
Im not 100% sure if i fully understand whats your problem, but since jts fonts and keyboards involved i can recommend you to try the folloing, that at least helped me out.
Here:

http://damnsmalllinux.org/cgi-bin....2;t=147

After you read that i got i advice if you use a hd-install rename your keymap file to default (us). (look at the link above if you do not know what i mean)

Take care!

I don't really get it?
what the heck is "knoppix keyboard" -is this a variable? Surely there's no command like that..
Moreove i tried the "loadkmap" and "loadkeyboard" and that failed too...
I simply want to make DSL like yours Schoppenhauer..
i want to type my iso8859-2 (polish or pl1) signs and have my keyboard polish too (qwerty).
I tried install-keymap.. it says that everything gone OK but there's no change...
What to do then?
hm?
