As one whom is fairly new to linux and DSL, I find every "new to me" feature a revelation or sorts.
The lastest one is: mkmyDSL
As anyone who visits the irc channel on a regular basis knows, I recently completed my first mkmyDSL and now am the proud new owner my very own 'custom' DSL CD.
If you have not done this, you should check it out. My mkmyDSL CD now contains all the .dsl's, .tar.gz's, and .uci's that I ever wanted from the DSL repository.... all on one CD !! I just pop it in and boot. I no longer need to enter in any boot time options. I get gtk2, XFree86, and the nvidia thing working without doing anything now, as well as a host of other apps/tools loaded at boot or optional.
I retained the services of key individuals in the irc channel as I was going throught this process. It's a good thing too, because I'm a tad bit slow on this type of thing. However, if I can do it, surely anyone can!
Look at the following link, then make your own mkmyDSL CD!!

Thank you, RobertS
