Halo all,

I am a newbie on dsl, even more i am a newbie on linux also.
I have burned dsl 0.9.3 to CDRom and try to boot from it on my old Pentium2-333MHz Laptop.

The problem is the booting stop after dsl is giving up to create new authority file /home/dsl/.XAuthority, and then it shows:
xinit: unable to connect to XServer
xinit: no such process (error no): Server error
and goes to prompt dsl@tty1[dsl]$

can anyone give me a clue, please...

Thank you in advance

The X server apparently failed to start, so you can't connect to it.  Perhaps there's a conflict with your hardware?
I'd try "sudo xsetup.sh" and try some different settings to see if something else might work.
