What are you talking about?
DSL natively supports generic, gimp-print, ghostscript printers, and many, many others.
It works very well with the HP laserjets at school. And they are USB printers.
Also works good with my ancient Samsung laser printer.
And the dot-matrix printer I got way back with my 80286.
XD
Anyways, if your printer is not natively supported, you can use apt to grab CUPS. If it's still not supported, most likely, it's a winprinter, the evil printerlike cousin to winmodems.

-------------- They say if you play a Microsoft CD backwards, you hear satanic messages. That's nothing, cause if you play it forwards, it installs Windows.
