Cappy - DSL is marvelous, to be sure. Question re your apt-getting Synaptic - did you have to jump through any hoops to make this happen? When I try to apt-get Synaptic on my system (DSL 0.6.2 installed to the hard drive), I get the following:
---------- Some packages could not be installed...
The following packages have unmet dependencies: synaptic: Depends: libapt-pkg-libc6.2-3-2-3.2 E: Broken packages ----------
For fun I tried apt-getting libapt-pkg-libc6.2-3-2-3.2 and got:
---------- Note, selecting apt instead of libapt-pkg-libc6.2-3-2-3.2 apt is already the newest version. 0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 1 not upgraded. ----------
Not sure what I'm doing wrong or not doing right. I should mention my severe n00bicity, but I'm working on the Linux way of doing things (and loving DSL).
