Quote (sandisn @ July 17 2005,13:41) | Hi!
It's really nice that there are keybord layouts for my language(latvian) - most distros don't have them, so I have to install them manually. But the problem is that latvian specific characters (ē ū ī ā š ģ ķ ļ ž č ņ) are not represented correctly in most apps. Interesting, because Firefox shows them right (encoding: baltic iso 8859-13 or windows-1257).
Most likely I just have to install some extra fonts, but how? And why DSL doesn't use unicode fonts? |
speaking about Russian (win) layout: I do not see the Switch to activate on/off my typing in russian/english ......how to do that ? Only english letters are generated by my keyboard now :-(
